Welcome to Reception! 

What a busy year we have planned, from making pizzas at the local pizzeria to seeing all the animals at the farm. We have lots of visitors come into school to help bring our learning to life, these include, the fire service, police officers, babies and toddlers as well as chicks and ducklings!

In Reception we enjoy sharing our time between our inside and outdoor environment, getting messy and sharing games with friends. Every day we try to be as active as possible, taking part in the daily mile or using our bikes and scooters. In Reception, we also have PE once a week which we really enjoy and helps to keep us active. 

We build houses for bugs, make sandwiches, learn how to cross the road safely and take time to splash in puddles, all part of the 50 things to do before you leave Wood Field.
