Welcome to Year 1!

We love exploring how we make history, discovering how toys have evolved over time, and learning about the impact of famous explorers. Throughout the year, we read many exciting books, such as Handa's Surprise and Supertato. A theatre company visits us to teach us about the weather in an engaging way. We also learn about fruits and vegetables and even make delicious smoothies. Our creative skills shine as we explore mixing colors, making puppets, crafting with paper, and learning the art of weaving.
