Oak Field is a highly specialist primary base for children with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder

and an EHCP. Oak Field is located on the same site as Wood Field. We are a welcoming and friendly school with a strong sense of passion, drive and community. 

Our staff are committed to celebrating the children’s strengths and personalities, using their passions and interests to deliver opportunities for all pupils to be 'Limitless.'

We are proud to offer a highly differentiated and engaging curriculum with a focus on independence, social interaction and communication. We use a variety of Autistic Spectrum Disorder specific strategies.  Class sizes vary from 6 – 8 children with an adult ratio which reflects the needs of children, meaning we are able to tailor our activities to meet their individual needs.

As a team, we work closely with a variety of external professionals, such as: speech and language; occupational therapy and social care.
